Cornwall Councillors make a huge difference to the quality of life for local people.
People from all backgrounds and experiences are strongly encouraged to stand for election, as this diversity is needed to reflect the whole of Cornwall.
There is an opportunity to find out more about being a Cornwall Councillor at a special online event on Saturday 16 January.
Cornwall Council will have 87 electoral divisions contested at the election in May.
Meaning, 87 councillors will be needed to cover the whole of Cornwall.
