Good Citizen Award Scheme – We have now launched the 2020 Good Citizens Award Scheme. Last year we received so many deserving nominations the judges found it very difficult to choose between them. You can now pick up an application form from the ClayTawc Centre, the Parish Council office or you can download them from our website. The winners will then be presented at the Annual Parish Meeting next year.
What is the Good Citizen Award and why do it?
The St Dennis Parish Council Good Citizen Award is the Council’s way to acknowledge and celebrate members of the community who have improved the life of individual people or the parish as a whole, who may otherwise go unrecognised.
We are asking the general public to nominate people who have given their time and efforts without seeking praise or reward and the Parish Council feel they should have recognition for their great contributions.
Do you know somebody that has gone over and above for our community why not nominate them for this award.
There are three categories for this award, Junior Citizen ( 12 and under), Young Citizen (13-21) and Adult (22 and over) and the closing date for the nominations is 20th March 2020.
Above are some of last years winners.
