St Dennis Parish Council Good Citizens Award Scheme has now been launched for  2019.

What is the Good Citizen Award and why do it?

The St Dennis Parish Council Good Citizen Award is the Council’s way to acknowledge and celebrate members of the community who have improved the life of individual people or the parish as a whole, who may otherwise go unrecognised.

We are asking the general public to nominate people who have given their time and efforts without seeking praise or reward and the Parish Council feel they should have recognition for their great contributions.

Do you know somebody that has gone over and above for our community why not nominate them for this award.

There are three categories for this award, Junior Citizen ( 12 and under), Young Citizen (13-21)  and Adult (22 and over)  and the closing date for this year is 29th March 2019.The selection process will take place in April and the Awards are to be given at our Annual Meeting in April.

IMERYS have kindly offered to sponsor the Junior section and the Over 22’s, Suez will be sponsoring the Young Adult and Southwest Sweepers are sponsoring the small trophies for all three categories. Representatives from all three companies will be taking part in the selection process.
