Cornwall Council and Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership want to hear from anyone working within the creative and cultural industries in Cornwall in a Creative Census to help build a picture of the sector locally. They also want to hear from anyone earning an extra income through a creative passion.Last year the Council launched Cornwall’s Creative Manifesto, which followed work with the local cultural and creative sector and set in place a strategy for the creative economy between 2021 and 2025. The Census is part of this work and aims to gain a comprehensive picture of Cornwall’s creative industries landscape and to better understand Cornwall’s role as a leading rural creative economy.
