Description:
St Dennis Parish Council is
seeking a reliable, experienced, and self-motivated Senior Administrative Officer. This role
involves providing comprehensive administrative support within a busy office,
and involves various tasks, including policy monitoring, assisting in meeting
preparation, reviewing planning applications, staff supervision, report
writing, website management, assisting in the implementation and delivery of
Council instructions as a Local Parish Authority.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Provide a full range of administrative support
- Assist with the implementation and delivery of
Council instructions
- Prioritise and manage workloads to meet
deadlines
- Work effectively both independently and as
part of a team
- Attend evening meetings as required
- Cover for sickness and holidays when needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of recent office experience
- Good knowledge of various office procedures
- High level of computer literacy, including
Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication
skills
- Effective organisational skills
- Previous experience in senior administration
- Own transport and a full driving licence
- Experience in Local Authority work (desirable)
