CORNISH LITHIUM NOTIFICATION

You might be aware that there are several patches of Japanese Knotweed along the permissive path which runs from Trelavour Crossroads to the top of Brewer’s Hill?

Knotweed is an invasive plant and, as the ‘person’ responsible for the land, we are required to take steps to control / limit the spread of the plant.

To this end we have been working with our ecological consultants and specialist contractors to put together a plan of action with some initial works programmed for tomorrow.

The work will involve the use of several items of mobile plant and machinery.

To limit the chance of any potential health and safety incidents occurring we will be closing the permissive path for the duration of the work – most likely just the one day, although there may be more work in the future.
