Landmark Tree planting
Cornwall
Forest for Cornwall’s Landmark Tree project is funded by the Woodland Trust and
provides every town and parish in Cornwall with a tree to plant in celebration
of an event, person or place. The location and dedication are chosen by the
community of each parish and 47 towns and parishes will plant trees during
National Tree Week and over this winter.
Applications for planting this year are now closed, but you can apply for
planting in 2022/23. If your town or parish hasn’t applied yet you can find
more information and an application form on Forest for Cornwall’s webpage: https://letstalk.cornwall.gov.uk/landmark-tree
Every tree planted in Cornwall since September 2019 counts towards the Forest
for Cornwall. You are encouraged to register your planted tree here: https://customer.cornwall.gov.uk/forestforcornwall/
