Winners of St Dennis Good Citizen 2022

The winners of St Dennis Good Citizen Award 2022 were announced during July’s Carnival Week.

Adult Award:

1^st Molly Lorimer. For supporting others by giving lifts to health appointments. Supporting Cancer Research.

2^nd Liz Bradbury. Works tirelessly for the Church, Women’s Institute and Community Larder. A resident who really cares for the community.

3^rd Liz Johns. Voluntarily delivered shopping to vulnerable parishioners during Covid; and continues to deliver newspapers to residents.

Junior Award:

Equal 1^st Olivia and Holly Dowd. For help with Queen’s Jubilee Celebrations, litter picking around village; and generally helping others.

Congratulations to all the entrants. The Parish Council would like to give a big thank you to all the sponsors: Imerys, Suez and Cornwall Pools, without whom these Awards would not take place. The Good Citizen Awards will take place again next year. Remember, this is your chance to acknowledge unsung heroes who go above and beyond and make a real difference to St Dennis.
