The deadline is the 23rd January to respond to the consultation on the Draft Cornwall Council Budget and Business Plan 2022-23.

During the COVID pandemic, the Council’s number one priority has been to support and protect residents. The response to COVID, in particular around adult social care and protecting the most vulnerable, hit the Council’s finances hard. The Council is working hard to address a significant and urgent budget challenge, both now and in the next four years. This means there will be some very tough decisions.Following the pandemic the Council has also set a clear mission of working with communities for a carbon neutral Cornwall, where everyone can start well, live well and age well.Earlier this week Cornwall Council held a stakeholder event and a briefing for town and parish councils.
