The 8^th of May 2025 marks the 80^th anniversary of VE Day. 

The Parish Council invite all to join us for an evening of celebration and remembrance to commemorate this important date. We are extremely grateful to be supported in putting on this event by St Denys Church Bell Ringers, The Working Men’s Club, St Dennis Band, Imerys Mid Cornwall Male Choir, St Dennis Fire Service and our Volunteers. 

The event will start at the Working Men’s Club at 6.30pm to the joyous sound of the St Denys church bells ringing out over the village. From there the band will play some rousing numbers followed by readings of remembrance and reflection. After some light refreshments the choir will entertain us into the evening which will culminate in a short service given by Rev. Chris and the lighting of the beacon.
