It was great to see so many residents support the Remembrance Parade on Sunday 10^th of November, in honour those who gave their lives for our freedom. The procession travelled through the village with representatives from many local groups and organisations. The Council would like to thank all the volunteers who assisted with the road closure. Without their hard work and support the event could not take place.

We would also like to give special thanks to our Maintenance Operative, Brian Pilsworth, who ensured that the poppies, crosses and soldier silhouettes were placed around the village in all relevant areas to commemorate the fallen.
